As a kid in the 80's, I grew up coding my own video games on my TRS-80 computer, and coding has been a hobby ever since.
I built my first website in 1997. It was one of a few that I had made for local garage bands and artists at the time. This was lots of fun.
In the 2000’s I started designing WordPress themes and plugins. This was a new coding and design challenge, and I loved using these tools to express myself creatively.
I think having the ability to communicate creatively online is an important part of free speech.
In 2011, my wife and I opened a fitness studio together in Arizona. I returned to school to study marketing. Having a strong internet presence was key to our success, and much of my time was spent building websites and managing internet marketing campaigns.
We moved to Greene County, TN in 2023. Since our church and some businesses we love didn’t have a website, it was hard to find them at first.
East Tennessee is growing. I firmly believe that thriving small businesses and strong church communities are essential for the health of our families, communities, and economies.
My role in helping create these strong communities is to help make sure your business, church, or charity can connect with these new customers before your competitors do.
Many small business owners are too busy to manage their own websites. Or they don’t have the budget to hire a big design firm.
